Integrative Therapy
Integrative Therapy means that the therapist does not only use one approach but combines different ways of working in order to suit each individual and their difficulties.
Integrative therapists use a variety of different methods and techniques from different therapies, including person-centred therapy, expressive arts therapy, and cognitive behaviour therapy (a therapy which looks at changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviours).
Integrative therapy can be particularly effective as it allows the therapist to tailor their approach to each person’s unique needs.
